How do I import a CELTX file?

Modified on Thu, 22 Feb 2018 at 05:47 PM

Celtx has removed support for the .celtx script format which Shot Lister imports, and instead relies on their cloud based solution Celtx Studio.

Celtx users (in both free and paid plans) can download a Fountain file ( .fountain ) and then import it into Shot Lister through email or Dropbox. Or on the Mac you can just double click the Convert File section of the Quick Start Window to import your script.

If you're still using the former Celtx desktop application, you should still  be able to import your Celtx scripts, but if you're using the new cloud based system described above, then you need to export a .ftn file of your script.

Currently we don't support exporting a shot list from Celtx Studio.
