How do I mark a shot as done?

Modified on Wed, 27 Dec 2023 at 01:09 AM

If you're using live mode, once you pass call time the ability to mark shots and notes as completed becomes available. Shots in progress will have a dark checkmark which will turn light green once you tap it when you complete the shot.

If you'd rather not use Live Mode because you don't want the app to automatically adjust times based on how things change on the day, click the checkmark icon in the top of the screen to turn "live mode" on and off. You can then manually mark shots as completed by swiping right on iOS, or right clicking on MacOS.

GETTING FAMILIAR WITH LIVE MODE PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST SHOOT DAY

If you want to test Live Mode before your shoot day to become familiar with it, just open your shoot day, change the date to the current one and the start time to a few minutes before the current time and Shot Lister will go into Live Mode once the call time is reached and you can try checking/unchecking shots. If all your shots show as complete for some reason when you enter Live Mode,  you can just go to the bottom, and uncheck the last shot, and work your way up to uncheck all the shots.

NOTE:

Shot Lister will only let you change the duration of notes or shots that have not yet been shot so if you're trying to change the duration of something, uncheck it.
